Life on the Disc

Firstly, I have a song coming out on the 30th, called Life Pro Max. It's about the exploitative nature of smartphone production supply chains, but you probably wouldn't know that unless I told you. Secondly, I want to do a couple of open mics in the general Tendring area, and at least one more in Colchester before the end of June. Because at the end of June, I'll be performing my second solo liveshow of my music. My debut show was at the Harwich Arts and Heritage Centre, and nobody from the general public turned up despite the venue and mine's best efforts for promotion. I wasn't upset about it at the time because it meant that I had basically an hour-long dry run with nobody I'd embarrass myself too badly in front of, but I want people to come to the next one. Thirdly, I start writing for my debut album next week. I applied for Arts Council funding, and I should find out if I've got it or not any day now, which will obviously shape how the project comes along.

Figured I'd start a little bit of a blog page.
